Renting one of Brac island apartments has many advantages, compared with other islands like Hvar and Korcula.

The first and foremost advantage is its vicinity to Split port and excellent connectivity by car ferries as well by catamarans (fast foot passengers ships).

The second advantage of hiring apartments on Brac island which for many visitors is even more important lies in affordable prices, but also the quality that this type of accommodation offers.

Getting to Brac Island

Whether you are traveling by car or just as a foot passenger, it’s important to stay informed on how to reach Brac island.

The fact that Brac island is reachable by only two ferry car connections, the shortest one from Split to Supetar and alternative from Makarska to Sumartin, renting a private apartment in Bol or Milna means you will have another 35 km from Supetar to Bol and 20 km to Milna.

A road network has been constructed throughout the island, making it easy to travel by car. You shouldn’t worry too much about getting to Brac as a foot passenger, as regular bus services connect all parts of the island. But you should keep in mind that all services begin or end in Supetar.

Northern Brac Island Apartments

Supetar apartments

On the island map you can see that the northern side of Brac island (the part facing the Split coast line) is more populated with Supetar as the island capital.

From the west of Supetar there are popular destinations like Mirca and Sutivan, while from the east you can see settlements like Splitska, Pustira, Pucisce and Povlja.

The whole northern side of the island offers numerous lovely places, beautiful pebble and stone beaches protected by green pines in the background.

With its unspoiled villages, cobbled streets, protected bays, green and hilly landscape cooled by gentle breezes, unpolluted air, crystal clean sea, lush Mediterranean vegetation, traditional island lifestyle and perfect weather, the island Brac will make your holiday experience idyllic in one of Brac island private apartments.

Milna apartments

Milna is a beautiful old Mediterranean village located on the west side of Brac island. Milna is truly the Mediterranean as it once was.

Milna has been considered as the most beautiful and the safest harbor on Brac island. The vicinity of Split town and good catamaran connections (only for foot passengers) makes Milna a popular tourist center and favorite nautical port.

The southern Brac coast with Bol town is the most visited part of the island. The famous Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape) pebble beach is often considered the most beautiful beach on Croatia’s Adriatic coast.

Bol is either reachable by car from Supetar (from Split) or Sumartin (arriving by car ferry from Makarska), or by catamaran fast ships (only for foot passengers) from Split.

The nearby Brac airport is another way to get to the island, taking a plane from Zagreb to Bol airport.

4 star apartments in Bol

Bol is very popular destination for families with children with great all-inclusive holiday resorts and a good selection of entertainment suitable for all ages from diving, windsurfing, horseback riding, boat excursions, fishing, kayaking, surfing, tennis and others.

Bol is the best holiday destination, offering more than 2500 beds in private accommodation.

Eastern Brac Island Apartments
